Hello! I'm Theresse!

I am a third-year Business Administration student with a minor in Entrepreneurship at the University of Florida. I strive to strengthen my skills in leadership and teamwork, all while incorporating my passion in the fine arts into my involvement, and eventually, my career. I am incredibly interested in learning about International Business, and how cultures around the world influence the standard business practices of that area. Aside from my academic and professional interests, I love dancing, playing piano, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

GEB3373: International Business

I was lucky enough to take this class while studying abroad with Warrington's UF in Madrid program. Taking this class abroad definitely broadened my perspective on international business and all that it entails, such as varying regional regulations or financial rules. Experiencing in real time some of the differences we discussed in class was definitely a new and unique experience.

Florida Leadership Academy

FLA is a student organization through UF Warrington that brought in new speakers each week that focused on different capacities within the EIL Model. Mentees also participated in a Case Competition sponsored by Johnson & Johnson. As a mentee with 2 great mentors throughout the school year as well as being a member of the Inclusive Excellence Committee, I was able to grow so much professionally and personally. It is through my participation FLA that I was able to chase goals authentically, and gave me the motivation and confidence to follow my own journey rather than everyone else's.

For the 2023-2024 school year, I served as FSA's VP of Finance. For the 2024-2025 school year, I currently serve as their VP of Internal Affairs.
